At this point, we began to move more quickly through the book since the kids were comfortable.

Chapter 4

  • I read aloud to students, stopping to ask questions and acting things out for them.
  • They completed the chapter 4 reading questions independently and turned them in for a grade.
  • Homework: Pre-teach yourselves the vocabulary with this Quizlet for chapters 5-6

Chapters 5 & 6

  • I read aloud to students, stopping to ask questions and acting things out for them.
  • They completed the chapter 5 reading questions independently and turned them in for a grade.
  • We completed some of the chapter 5 reading questions together so that I could emphasize the structure ir+a+infinitive. Students completed the rest on their own and then we read chapter 6 together.
  • Students completed the questions for chapter 6 independently and turned them in for a grade.
  • We played Kahoot to review chapters 5-6.
